I got lost at first trying to find it.
So, for anyone else who couldn't find the font:

    Go to this web page

Then scroll down to find the following sentence...

You can download the True Type font for your computer (Windows operating system) of the Hawthorn font by clicking here.

Thanks Steve. This is exactly what I want but all I get is a page of garbage. I have accessed the link with Firefox and also with Internet explorer. Does anyone have any idea how to get the font. I want to get what Steve shows with Microsoft Word. The link that I am sent to when I click on the word "here" is: http://www.porticus.org/bell/images/Hawthorn.TTF Is this where I should be and if so, why is this not a valid font? Thank you. Reed

    Hi Reed,

Just right click on the link you posted, and follow Steve's diection to save the file (as a web page) and either copy or move the saved file to your font folder. Kind of a different way to install a font but it worked fine for me. Note the web page has a TTF extension instead of HTM, guess that's how it works.

Once copied to the font folder, it should appear in Word's font list.

Easier way - go here and download (use the little download button below, not the large one that's trying to sell you something):
